Large-scale refinery expansion project involving the construction of new process units and the installation of thousands of instrumentation devices required for plant automation and safe process operations.
My Role
Managed field execution activities related to instrumentation installation, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring construction progress remained aligned with project schedules and engineering requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Led and supervised 70 instrumentation technicians and two contractors, coordinating daily construction activities and ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety standards.

Managed the installation of approximately 6,500 instruments across the assigned process plant, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and construction quality standards.

Coordinated with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to resolve field conflicts and maintain workflow efficiency.

Managed RFIs, construction progress tracking, and milestone reporting, proactively addressing schedule risks and implementation challenges.

Acted as the primary field coordination point between contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders.
